The Ghost on the Tracks

I lived in Ohio all my life and we would go to Brownfield, PA to visit my pap n grandma [my moms mom and dad. Every chance we got anytime school was out it was PA or WV, very large family 15 kids. Well we got there late one night and the youngest of the kids, Aunt Mary, was in her room listening to music. She's my youngest aunt so we had a lot in common. It was getting around midnight and if you look right out her bedroom window you can see the traintracks, they ran right through the backyard. She told me to look out by this bush and just watch, so i did, and this figure appered holding a lantern. He was dirty like from shovling coal and he walked about 10 feet of track and disappeared before he reached the bush. I was so scared but so curious at the same time. This happened every night at the same time.

This house was haunted and has many stories and I'll get to them all just not tonight. I'd say was because last 80's early 90's it caught on fire, Im not sure of the address but I remember it was right off from a little park and we went up a big hill that had a huge luminated cross at night, us kids knew when we seen that cross we were almost there.

Traintracks, gotta love em!
by: Anonymous

Hello, you story was interesting. Traintracks are supposed to be seeping with ghosts and mystery. Railroad rules and regulations were slack compared to today and so, a lot more accidents happened back then. Those poor souls! Keep your eye out for more ghostly activity, I am sure you will find it. Happy hunting.
