"Rotorfest"
The nation's only "all-helicopter" air show. A 2-day celebration of rotary wing aviation held annually in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Estimated attendance 7,000 per day.
Highlights of the 2007 edition of "Rotorfest": There were three exciting air shows a day featuring dramatic and exciting flight demonstrations more than 30 Chinooks, Apaches, Dolphins, Jet Rangers, Stingrays, Super Stallions, Sea Knights, Black Hawks, Sea Hawks, and Hueys from all the different branches of our U.S. Military and an array of Civilian Helicopters and Autogiros. Congressman Joe Sestak and Chester County Commissioner Carol Aichele where on hand to greet the visitors and welcome many of our Country’s service men and women and their families back from Iraq and Afghanistan attending this years’ event. Food and family activities highlighted the excitement overhead and provided affordable fun and entertainment for the whole family.
"Rotorfest '08" will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 & Sunday, October 12, 2008. Gates open at 10:00am each day. For more information, travel directions, hotel accommodations, etc., please contact the following:
