Peddler House
As a child growing up in Central PA, we were told of this house that was haunted by the ghost of a peddler. As the years have passed I do not remember much of the story. The story had something to do with relatives visiting a house. While there, they watched blood dripping from the ceiling and a beaten ghost of a man standing in front of the fireplace below the dripping blood asking for help.
The story goes that years ago a peddler was robbed and killed. His body was apparently stashed in the upstairs floorboards of the house, his wagon and horse was never found and presumed burned. I have asked others about this story, some know it but others do not. Can anyone shed some light on the whole thing? I would like to know where this house is/was and if anyone else knows anything about this story would be very helpful.
