Montrose, PA July 4th and 5th, 2010 Celebration - Celebrating our Heritage
The Kiwanis-Lions-Rotary service Clubs of Montrose are sponsoring the great July 4th-5th events in Montrose PA.
This year the fireworks are beginning at dusk on July 4th at the Montrose High School. Fireworks are sponsored by the Montrose Chamber of Commerce.
On July 5th the town is hopping with many activities.
The Kiwanis-Lions-Rotary have chosen this year's theme, "Celebrating our Heritage" in recognition of the 200th Anniversary of the founding of Susquehanna PA
Events are:
7:30am-10:30am - All you can Eat Pancake Breakfast - Montrose United Church - Corner of Maple and Church Streets
6:45am-8:00am - Endless Mountains Races (Fun Run, 5 K and 10K)
8:00-4:00PM - Arts, Crafts, and Food Vendors - all day long at the Village Green
10:00AM - Chicken BBQ - served at the United Fire Co just off the Village Green
11:00AM - Patriotic Parade - starts on Grow Avenue and ends near the Village Green.
What a way to spend the day Celebrating our Heritage!!!
