Ice Skating at Lakemont Lake

Why don,t we bring ice skating back on the lake at the Lakemont Park. The community used to love skating there.

Wow, that was a really long time ago that we could enjoy ice skating on the Lakemont Park Lake. It was a really nice way foe the community to get together through the winter months. It was especially nice when they'd build a big bonfire for the skaters to take a break and warm up. I don't expect it to come back because of the ice skating rink they have at Lakemont now. But it's always nice to remember when life was so much simpler to enjoy winter and the outdoors.
