Ebensburg Potato Festival - September 24, 2011

Its a very nice festival that is held on Saturday the 24th this year. For the first time they are having a concert the evening of Friday the 23rd. There are all kinds of delicious foods to eat, and as you can guess, many of those dishes involve potatoes. there are several entertainers set up in different areas of town. Many crafters set up their wares in booths lining the streets. My family goes every year and we agree it seems to be getting larger each year. An excuse to get outdoors, enjoy wonderful autumn weather and relish in the company of friendly people all while enjoying the many awesome flavors of different foods all while trying to decide which fabulous craft item you just have to have. It begins at 9 am and goes on until 5 pm. There are many parking areas set up with free shuttle transport to the festival. If you search online you will be able to find more information.
