Celebrate the Book - A Central PA Book Festival - October 19, 2013

Friends of Bosler Library host a family-friendly book festival, Celebrate the Book on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the St. Patrick's Parish Activity Center, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle.

From 9 am to 4 pm you can browse for a new or used book, attend interesting programs led by authors, or bring your children to exciting and fun activities such as Celebrity Story Time and our now famous Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. Come hear featured speaker, Dr. Eben Alexander, author of Proof of Heaven. Other well-known best selling authors include Jackson Taylor, Nelson Lauver, Victoria Thompson, Maria V. Snyder, and Ellen Crosby. Many more authors and book sellers, illustrators, and publishers will be there. This festival also offers classes on writing and how to get published. A wonderful day filled with reading and fun meeting authors.

Hello Lynn,

Thank you so much for telling us about the Celebrate the Book - A Central PA Book Festival in October, 2013.

I was really excited to read about this event for two reasons. I recently read Dr. Eben Alexander's book "Proof of Heaven" and it would be a real experience to meet him in person and listen to him talk about his personal near death experience. My second reason was reading that Victoria Thompson will also be a speaker there. Victoria is an old friend of mine that I haven't talked to in a long time.

I'm wondering if this event has any connection to Penn Writers. I was once the area 4 representative and made many friends, including Victoria.
